Hello, I started my business in 2008 providing alterations for my friends and neighbors to make a little extra money for my family. I had a stroke in 2014 which left me disabled on my right side. I made it my mission to learn to sew again with my disability so after a year in PT, I was able to sew again and today, I am able to provide numerous sewing services to my community and across the US. I collaborate and sub-contract with some of the best seamstresses, quilters, designers and artisans in Upstate NY. We take pride and care with every project we are commissioned to do, and we are fully insured. My clients can feel confident entrusting their projects with Harmony Designs.
In addition, I created “Harmony’s Helping Hands” a non-profit, volunteer extension of my business that gives back to my community. I work with and enlist seamstresses from across NYS to volunteer their time and talents to help with such projects as “Angel Gowns”, “Dress for Success Program” and most recently making over 5000 masks that have been distributed to hospitals, nursing homes, the disabled and frontline workers.
I thank you for your business and for being a part of my journey! ~xoxo Pat~
